There are options of two-day or three-day Yosemite bus tours from San Francisco, with trips including return transportation in a luxury motor coach, admission to the park, a hotel stay at Yosemite Lodge or Ahwahnee Hotel, and guided tours of either Glacier Point or Yosemite Valley Floor.

Day 1 of your journey begins with hotel pick-up, which is available from most major hotels within central San Francisco. The motor coach departs San Francisco at approximately 7:00 a.m., winding its way through scenic Livermore Valley and Altamont Pass before arriving at Yosemite National Park around noon.

From there, our Yosemite National Park tour begins with an overview of major sights, including the Merced River, the Half-Dome, and the breathtaking waterfalls. Afterwards, you’ll be dropped off at Yosemite Lodge. If you are staying at Ahwahnee Hotel, you can take the free Yosemite Shuttle to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish.

Day 2, you can participate in one of two guided tour options. The Glacier Point tour, available from June to October, departs at 8:30 a.m. and takes about four hours, bringing you to a soaring summit 8,000 feet above sea level! Alternately, you can take the Yosemite Valley Floor tour, which runs all year and introduces you to the wondrous splendor of the park’s scenic lowlands. If you opt to stay for a third day, you can take the Yosemite Grand Tour for an additional fee, which highlights the enchanting forests of Mariposa Grove and the stunning majesty of Glacier Point.

Return trips run on the second day or third day, depending on how long you want your Yosemite National Park tour to last. Return transportation to San Francisco departs the park at 3:30 p.m. from Yosemite Lodge. A brief stop is made mid-way and you arrive in San Francisco after 9:00 PM. There can be traffic delays or late departures, so please do not expect to catch a flight on the same night as your return from Yosemite. If you are going on to San Francisco International Airport, it is best to take a taxi from the first stop.
