Upon your arrival in San Luis Obispo at about 3:43 p.m., a comfortable hotel van will transport you from the train station to the beautiful Apple Farm Inn. Dinner at the hotel is included, free of additional charge.
Day 2: The Wine Wrangler tour company whisks you away to the legendary Hearst Castle, where you’ll enjoy a two-hour leisurely walking tour before stopping for a picnic lunch and shopping. You’ll then head back to San Luis Obispo for the 3:43 p.m. Coast Starlight train, traveling through the heart of California’s agriculture country, arriving in Salinas at 6:36 p.m. Salinas Taxis will be awaiting your arrival to take you to Monterey, where you will spend the night at the beautiful Bay Park Hotel.
Day 3: You’ll have breakfast and spend a relaxing morning at the hotel before meeting your motor coach between noon and 1:00 p.m. for your tour up the coast. Spend the rest of the day in historic Monterey, Cannery Row, and Pacific Grove. Take in the breathtaking mansions and scenic vistas, see the waves of the Pacific crashing on the rocks and whirling along the coast on the 17 Mile Drive, brush with luxury at the resorts of Pebble Beach, and spend some time shopping and browsing in quaint Carmel by the Sea. After 5:00 p.m., you will head north to San Francisco, arriving at your hotel around 7:30 p.m.
