Train tickets to Los Angeles or Anaheim or Airbus transfer to LAX, Tax, tips & porterage 1st Day. San Francisco to Monterey. 154 miles. Leave San Francisco around 9:00 a.m. Driving south along San Andreas Fault then west to the Pacific Ocean down Highway One you go through Santa Cruz. Miles of artichoke and strawberry fields by the Monterey Bay, home of Fort Ord where armed forces once trained now students prepare for their future at California State University. Going through Monterey we stop at Cannery Row around lunch time and optional visit of the world renown Monterey Bay Aquarium. Driving along stops are made at *Pacific Grove *17 Mile Drive *Pebble Beach *Carmel by the Sea for about an hour. Check-in to the hotel by 5:30 p.m. Hyatt Regency Hotel, Monterey. Dinner & Breakfast 
2nd Day. Monterey to San Luis Obispo. 148 miles.* Scenic Highway One * Big Sur Coast * Coastal Redwoods * San Simeon. * Tour No. 1 of Hearst Castle, ideal for first time visitors with an easy walk, a total of about 150 steps. About 2 hours. Via Morro Bay we reach San Luis Obispo at about 3:30. The Central Coast is home to some of the best wineries in California, a stop is made for a short tour and wine tasting. Check-in to the hotel by 5:30 p.m. La Cuesta Motor Inn, San Luis Obispo. 3rd Day. San Luis Obispo to Santa Barbara. 95 miles.  About an hour south to Solvang, a delightful village of Danish Heritage with pastry and gift shops galore. On to Santa Barbara for a short visit and end of the motor coach tour. Avoiding freeway traffic take Pacific Surfliner train at 2:00 arrives Los Angeles Union Station at 4:55 or Anaheim at 5:49 San Diego at 7:50 p.m. Alternately Santa Barbara Airbus at 1:20 or 4:20 arrives LAX about 3:45 or 6:45. We can book hotel rooms in Santa Barbara or at Renaissance Hotel - L.A. Airport, Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens in Los Angeles, Clarion Hotel in Anaheim or Handlery Hotel in San Diego. You can combine this tour with hotels and tours at either end in San Francisco and / or Los Angeles to make it a 5 or 7 day package vacation in California. 3 day San Francisco Riesling package includes two nights at The Hilton, Wine Country or the City and Muir Woods tour and 2 breakfasts. 3 day Los Angeles Bustle package includes two nights at Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens, Grand Tour of Los Angeles with Movie Stars' homes and LAX transfer.
