Spend eight days experiencing great national parks and “Sin City!” Pick up your rental car in Las Vegas, then relax by the pool, try your luck in the casinos, or take in a Las Vegas show. Head north to the towering cliffs of Zion National Park, then to Bryce Canyon National Park, where erosion has created colorful formations called “hoodoos.” On to Capitol Reef National Park to see the “Waterpocket Fold,” a 100-mile-long wrinkle in the earth’s crust. Continue to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and Mesa Verde National Park, home to some of the country’s best-preserved Native American cliff dwellings. Drive through the stunning red mesas and buttes of Monument Valley, then to Lake Powell for some quality relaxation time. Finally, arrive at the majestic Grand Canyon with time to hike or take a helicopter ride over the canyon. Return to Las Vegas to drop off your rental car and conclude your memorable vacation.
